Madison Police searching for suspect who robbed GNC

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a store on Odana Rd Thursday afternoon.

Authorities say the suspect walked into the GNC at 6690 Odana Rd and demanded that the cashier give him money from the register. The suspect didn't appear to have a weapon. 

The suspect fled from the store, west on Odana Rd. 

The cashier wasn't hurt and no one else was in the store when it happened. A K9 unit was used to track the suspect but he hasn't been located. 

The suspect is described as a black male, 250 lbs, 20-25 years old was last seen wearing a gray Adidas sweat suit. 

Anyone with information on the suspect's whereabouts you should call 911.
