MADISON (WKOW) -- Wake Up Wisconsin anchors Dani Maxwell and Brandon Taylor could use a few tips when it comes to cooking, so they recruited a professional chef to help with their first lesson.
Chef Joel Olson with Hemmachef splits time between Madison and Washington, D.C. giving cooking lessons to adults and children. He started simple with Dani and Brandon, teaching the basics of cutting an onion properly and which knife to use. Chef Olson says many people are intimidating by cooking because of the chopping involved, but there are techniques you can use where you won't put your fingers in danger.
