Victims of Madison shooting expected to survive

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Two victims who received life-threatening injuries in a shooting last Thursday are expected to survive.

That's according to Joel DeSpain with the Madison Police Department. Officers were investigating a routine call in the Allied Drive area when they heard multiple gunshots less than a block away. Two male victims, ages 21 and 24, were found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Both victims are still in the hospital as of Monday morning, but DeSpain says they are now expected to survive.

No one has been arrested in the shooting. Investigators believe the shooting was a targeted act of violence.
