Sun Prairie man busted for damaging parked cars

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Early Saturday morning Madison police were able to arrest a man for damaging parked cars.

The damaged vehicles were all parked inside the Overture Center Garage on W. Mifflin Street.  A ramp attendant was able to provide officers with an accurate description of the drunk man involved.

The suspect, 21-year-old Charles Bruce of Sun Prairie, was spotted near the Capitol Square.  He began to run, however, only made it about a half of block.  The arresting officer included in his report, "because of his level of intoxication, he lost his balance and proceeded to fall forward."

Three damaged cars were located.  Two had broken rear view mirrors and another sustained scratches on the hood.

Bruce was arrested for damage to property and resisting/obstructing.
