VERONA (WKOW) -- A Verona man is proving that "different is awesome." Ryan Haack was born with only one hand and he chronicles every day tasks on his website, www.livingonehanded.com.
Ryan realized at a young age that living one handed didn't mean that he couldn't do things; it just meant that he had to do them differently. He makes instructional videos showing how to carve pumpkins, tie shows, throw and catch baseballs, draw and many other things.
This year, Ryan wrote a children's book called "Different is Awesome" to show kids just that. He launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the money to get it published. To learn more or help out, head to this website.
