Beloit Police thank the community for being watchful.

UPDATE: BELOIT (WKOW)-- Nancy Chamberlian arrived in Beloit this weekend after her 36-year-old daughter, Christina Dean went missing.

“She has two little boys, one is 4 and one is 6 and they're praying for their mommy to come back,” Nancy said.

Nancy says it is out of character for Christina to just disappear and that she is currently suffering from mental health problems.

“She's very bright and very gifted and an excellent mother just dotes over her children,” Nancy said. “But she is sick right now and we need to find her and try to get her some help.”

Police believe Christina may have returned home early Monday morning and left again. They spent Tuesday scouring the turtle creek area.

“So far for the search we've coordinated efforts with several K9 units to check the areas that the family believes Christina likes to visit,” said Captain Dan Molland with the Beloit Police Department.

The K9 search of the Turtle Creek area turned up empty and police say now they need more help from the community.

“We’re trying to get her picture out there and so that we can hopefully have someone identify her and see her out in the community because with the community's help we're going to have a lot more eyes out there trying to locate her,” Cpt. Molland said.

Police say there have been a few calls about sightings of Christina but none they can confirm.

She is about 5'6", slender, and was last seen wearing a gray sweater and long red skirt or jumper.

Nancy says as the search continues, the family remains hopeful.

“ [We’re] praying, believing that the God that made her will take care of her but we need the public to help us.”

Anyone with information should call Beloit police at 608-364-6801. Anyone with information leading to her return could be eligible for a reward up to $1000.
