PORTAGE (WKOW) -- A Beaver Dam woman is a step closer to going on trial for the murder of her boyfriend, who was found dead 13 years ago.

Leah Waldhart, 38, was arrested just this year in the 2001 death of Curtis Wylesky. She's charged with First Degree Intentional Homicide in Columbia County Circuit Court. Wylesky's body was found in a ditch in Fall River.

Online court records show at her preliminary hearing Tuesday, the judge found probable cause and ordered the case bound over for further proceedings.

Meantime, the Portage Daily Register reports a second person is being investigated in Wylesky's death. The Columbia County Sheriff's Office says investigators believe Wylesky was forced to ingest a large amount of cocaine, and while Waldhart "orchestrated" it, someone else may have been involved. The medical examiner's final ruling on his death was that Wylesky died of a cocaine overdose. The criminal complaint states he was found with two plastic bags of cocaine in his stomach.
