MILWAUKEE (WKOW) -- A man says a Milwaukee police officer hit his car while on duty and then arrested him for drunk driving.

According to our affiliate, WISN, Diego Rodriguez-Hernandez says a Milwaukee police Sgt. Thomas Johnson backed up and struck his car August 2013.  Afterwards, Rodriguez says Johnson place him under arrest.

Police squad cameras captured some of the conversation.  In police reports, it showed at least four other officers on scene said Rodriguez did not appear drunk.  Documents also show that Rodriguez passed a field sobriety test.

Johnson declined to comment to WISN.  He was demoted from sergeant to officer.

Milwaukee police reduced the drunken driving ticket to reckless driving and Rodriguez pleaded guilty to the charge.
