Gov. Walker pays tribute to fallen soldiers

MADISON (WKOW) -- Governor Scott Walker spent Monday afternoon in Madison paying tribute to fallen soldiers.

He attended a fallen warrior ceremony at Golf Company HTC outdoor memorial..

The memorial included a playing of Taps, a wreath laying and a number of guest speakers.

"To all those who have served, to those serving still today, to those who loved them and a particular debt of gratitude to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice today as we should everyday, we say thank you," Walker said during his speech.

The governor also visited a Memorial Day ceremony at Wood Cemetery in Milwaukee on Monday morning.
