UPDATE: Flash Flood Warning in Green, Rock counties until 11:15 p.m.

MADISON (WKOW) -- The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Green and Rock counties until 11:15 p.m. Tuesday.

MADISON (WKOW) -- The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Dane County until 8:45 p.m. Tuesday.

At 5:45 p.m., radar indicated a thunderstorm dropped two to two and a half inches of rain in the last hour in Monona. Additional rainfall of one to two inches is possible in the Madison area.

Authorities are reminding drivers who encounter flooded roads to turn around and not drive through the water.

MADISON (WKOW) -- Storms are rolling through the area tonight.  They are scattered, but heavy downpour and hail are possible.
