GRAND CHUTE (WKOW) -- After winning the Division III football and basketball championships, it was up to the Whitewater baseball team to complete the unprecedented trifecta.
Many fans made the trip up to Appleton Tuesday morning to cheer on the Warhawks as they made history against Emory in the championship game.
By winning seven to nothing, Whitewater became the first school in NCAA history to win all three championships in one year.
John Schmitt, a UW-Whitewater graduate says, "Its very difficult to win a national championship in any sport, but to win three in the three major sports when you think about it, I mean its pretty amazing and it's something I'm just happy yo be a part of."
The university celebrated the victory with a parade on campus Tuesday night.
