Charges dropped against man accused of using daughter to deliver drugs

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Charges have been dismissed against Quentin Ellefson, a Janesville man accused of using his 13-year-old daughter to carry out a proposed drug deal with another teen.

As WKOW 27 News first reported in December of last year, 42-year-old Ellefson drove his daughter to the other teen's home to have her sell him synthetic marijuana.

Court records show prosecutors filed a motion that the case be dismissed because the substance tested by the Crime Lab is not one that can be prosecuted.

Ellefson faced a felony charge and up to 12 years in prison.
