Brando the K-9 Police dog with Town of Madison PD retiring

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- A ten year veteran with the Town of Madison police department calls it a career.

Brando the German Shepherd was part of the first K-9 team for the department, hitting the streets back in 2004.

His handler, Officer Tony Pucillo says he was very busy during his tenure, assisting on a number of cases, but Brando is now looking forward to relaxing at home with Pucillo and his family.

With Brando's retirement, the department is now raising money for their next police service dog.
