MADISON (WKOW) – Three men were charged with substantial battery after assaulting a Madison man early Saturday morning.
According to the City of Madison Police Department, the victim, 29, was crossing the intersection at West Gilman Street and University Avenue around 12:02 a.m. when a white SUV cut him off. The man slapped or hit the door/hood of the vehicle because it did not stop for him.
The suspects then left the SUV and battered the victim, breaking his nose, before driving away. Officers then found the vehicle, and arrested Kevin D. Robinson, Raleigh D. Thomas, and Dujuan S. Robinson. All three were charged with substantial battery, and police also charged Dujuan S. Robinson with possession of cocaine with intent to deliver.
