Madison police arrest man for OWI-4th

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police received complaints of an erratic driver on John Nolen Drive Sunday afternoon.

Officers were able to complete a traffic stop and conduct field sobriety tests.  The motorist, 52-year-old Kennen Hawkins, was unsteady on his feet, slurred speech and performed the field sobriety tests poorly.  Hawkins told the officers he had not been drinking, but instead had taken prescription medications. 

Hawkins was arrested for OWI-4th offense.
