UPDATE (WKOW) --- The City of Milton Police Department says missing man, Cory Broetzman was found dead Sunday in Jefferson County, Colorado.  Broetzman died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. 

No foul play is suspected.


MILTON (WKOW) -- The City of Milton Police Department is working to locate a missing person due to concerns regarding his personal safety.

41-year-old Cory W. Broetzman communicated to law enforcement on Wednesday that he intended to harm himself. As of Thursday morning, authorities were unable to locate Broetzman.

His last known location may be in the Altoona, Iowa area. 

Broetzman is described as a 5'10" and 280 lb. white male with short brown hair and blue eyes. He is believed to be driving a black, 4-door, 2014 Dodge Avenger with Wisconsin license plate 647HRM. 

Authorities in Illinois and Missouri have also been notified to be on the lookout for Broetzman.
