Madison man robbed at gunpoint

MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are looking for three armed robbery suspects.

According to the police report, a 30-year-old downtown resident told authorities he was robbed at gunpoint around 2:12 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of Howard Place.

The victim told police three men approached him and asked where the drugs were. He said at least one suspect was armed.

The victim ended up handing over his cell phone, wallet, and backpack. He told police he did not have any drugs.

The police report says the victim waited approximately 30 minutes to contact police.
