One taken by MedFlight in Columbia County crash

COLUMBIA COUNTY (WKOW) -- The Columbia County Sheriff's Office is investigating an accident in the township of Hampden.

A 911 call came into the Sheriff's Office shortly after 8:30 Friday morning, advising of a crash at the intersection of Highway 60 and Old F Road.  The accident involved a semi tractor trailer and a car. 

Upon arrival, it was discovered the driver of the car was pinned and injured.  That person was transported to the hospital via MedFlight.

Assisting the Columbia County Sheriff's Office at the scene were Wisconsin State Patrol, Rio Fire Department, Rio EMS, Columbus Fire Department, MedFlight and Blystones Towing.

Names of those involved are not being released at this time, pending the investigation.
