Breakfast on the Farm brings families to food producers

MOUNT HOREB (WKOW) -- Families gathered Saturday morning for Dane County's annual Breakfast on the Farm.

This year's breakfast was served at Zander's Dairy Farm in Mount Horeb. The annual event features many of the industry's best products like milk and cheese, and a meet and greet with the milk makers.

Gov. Scott Walker was there to help serve breakfast to the guests.

Organizers say Breakfast on the Farm is a great way for people to get a chance to see what life is like on the farm.

"People that drive by a farm everyday on their way to work, or they can see a cow but they never get to touch it, they never get to walk around the farm, and really understand what goes on and that we have to milk cows even on Christmas Day," says Jennifer Kuhn.

This was the 36th annual Breakfast on the Farm in Dane County.
