JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A traffic stop in Janesville lands a 22-year-old woman in jail on drug charges.
Janesville police say an officer pulled over Tonyiel L. Partee for a driving offense Saturday afternoon at S. Jackson Street and W. Delevan Drive. After seeing her leaving an address on Wilson Avenue with items she put in the trunk of the car, a K9 officer was brought in to do an exterior sniff of the vehicle.
Officers found 15 grams of individually-packaged bags of marijuana and 2.2 grams of cocaine bases. Investigators obtained a search warrant at the Wilson Avenue location where they found 0.9 grams of cocaine, 0.9 grams of heroin, prescription medications not in prescribed bottles and other drug paraphernalia.
Partee and Kenneth D. Jarrett, 59, were both arrested facing drug possession charges and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
