JANESVILLE TOWNSHIP (WKOW) -- Two people were injured, but not seriously, in what the sheriff's office says was a man's 4th drunk driving offense.

On Sunday, just before 4:00 p.m., Rock County deputies along with City of Janesville Fire Department and EMS crews responded to a one vehicle traffic accident with injuries on North Rock Rive Road near West Sunny Shore Drive in Janesville Township. The vehicle was headed south when it lost control around a corner, hit a guard rail and rolled onto its roof. The driver, identified as Mark Brummond, 46 from Janesville, and his passenger, Tammy Johnson, 44 of Westminster, both had non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators say alcohol appears to be a contributing factor and Brummond was arrested under suspicion of Operating While Intoxicated 4th Offense (Felony) and Operating While Intoxicated Causing Injury. He was also cited for Operating Without Insurance and Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed.
