MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police arrested a 17-year-old boy Monday afternoon after he allegedly pointed a handgun during a road rage incident.

The case of road rage took place Sunday night along E. Washington Avenue when the suspect cut a vehicle off and pointed a gun.

The victims, a mother, her four children and their grandmother, say they were very scared after seeing the gun.  A description of the suspect's vehicle, as well as a plate number were given to police.

When the suspect, Quantaze Campell was stopped Monday, he had beer and alcohol inside his SUV.  He stated he was a gang member and has made threats against officers.

Campell was arrested for endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm by a disqualified person and bail jumping.  Police also cited him for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and operating after suspension.
