Copper stolen from construction site at W. Johnson St.

 MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police are investigating a theft that happen at a downtown construction site at 420 W. Johnson St.

Officials estimate that $14,000 worth of copper was stolen.  They think it was stolen this past weekend.

A supervisor told police the wire had been stored in a parking garage.
