2 women arrested after dozens gather for fight in Madison

MADISON (WKOW) -- Officers say 40 to 50 people were out in the street and nearby during a disturbance on Russett Road in 7:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Witnesses say a large group of women showed up at an apartment building looking to fight a woman inside.

Police say a woman who came looking for a fight was arrested for disorderly conduct.  Another woman who lives inside the building who armed herself with a baseball bat was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed.

Police say 19-year-old Nanyamka James for disorderly conduct.  49-year-old Sherrye Hardrick Tate was arrested for disorderly conduct while armed.
