ATLANTA, Georgia (WKOW) -- About 75 Atlanta-based workers for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention may have been unintentionally exposed to anthrax.

Early reports show that a lab did not adequately inactivate some anthrax samples.  The product has been moved and used for experiments in three labs that are not equipped to handle live anthrax.

The agency says the workers are being monitored or provided antibiotics.  CDC officials say the risk of infection is relatively low.
