TOWN OF CADIZ (WKOW) -- A Browntown man has died after he was injured in a two-car collision in Green County on June 13.

According to the Green County Sheriff's Department, officials responded to the W8200 block of State Highway 11 in the afternoon of June 13. Further investigation showed that Dennis G. Gensler, 60, of Shullsburg, was traveling west on State Highway 11 when a car driven by Robert W. Chaddick, 76, of Browntown, made a left turn in front of Gensler. The two vehicles collided. Gensler was injured and was not wearing a seatbelt; his airbag deployed. Chaddick was also injured in the crash. It's unknown if Chaddick was wearing his seatbelt, but there was no airbag in his vehicle.

Officials learned on June 21 that Chaddick died of his injuries. This is the county's first fatal crash of 2014.
