Posted: Updated:

MOUNT HOREB (WKOW) -- Police say a pharmacy employee helped stop a man who robbed a drug store in Mount Horeb.

Police arrested Paul Engel of Evansville.

They say he had a knife and threatened the clerk at the Mount Horeb Phamarcy on W. Main Street around 10:40 a.m. Monday. Engel got Oxycontin and Morphine and then fled the store. Police say Engel was about to leave on his bicycle, but the employee grabbed him and took him to the ground until the cops got there.

Engel was booked into the Dane County Jail for armed robbery, bail jumping and substantial battery.

Officers say Engel was on bail for a previous pharmacy robbery in Rock County.
