Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- Former Badger hockey great and Hobey Baker award-winner Blake Geoffrion is back in Madison for a game that will raise money for the UW Health Burn Center.

Not only will Geoffrion be playing in Madison once again, but he's bringing back some of his closest hockey friends to Madison for the exhibition game Friday June 27 at 6:30 p.m. at LaBahn Arena. Those scheduled to play in the Blake Geoffrion Hockey Classic include Ryan Suter, Adam Burish, Tom Gilbert, Derek Stepan, Justin Schultz, Craig Smith, Brian Elliott, Ryan McDonagh, Brendan Smith and Patrick Johnson.

All the proceeds from the game will be given to the UW Health Burn Center. Blake told 27 News he got to know Dr. Lee Faucher during his time in at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Faucher suggested a game to help out the burn center and Blake said he wanted to make it happen. "Barry (Alvarez) said absolutely and so a big thanks to everyone at the university and the hospital for making this happen," Blake said during an interview on Wake Up Wisconsin Thursday morning.

Tickets for the game are $15 for adults and $10 for youth and seniors (ages 2-18 & 55+). You can get tickets at the UW Athletic Ticket Office or at Contact the Athletic Ticket Office with any questions at 1 (800) GO BADGERS, (608) 262-1440.
