Kindergarten students graduate from Safety Town

 MADISON (WKOW) -- 140 kids who will be entering kindergarten in the fall are ready to be safe in their community.

The kids spent the week at "Safety Town" learning many different aspects of safety and injury prevention.
 
Nan Peterson, with the American Family Children's Hospital says, "They have practiced pedestrian safety, learned about water safety, learned about being safe when your in the car so any of the things you want a child entering kindergarten to be aware of."

The kids graduated from safety town on Friday.
   
This is the 11th year for this program.
