MADISON (WKOW) -- The Heartland Farm Sanctuary, in Verona, is encouraging the public to stop in and tour its barns.

The sanctuary is a nonprofit organization created to help homeless farm animals in Wisconsin. Lindsay Lemmer, of the Heartland Farm Sanctuary, said the tours cost $10.00 and allow the public to get up close to the sanctuary's animals.

The Heartland Farm Sancturary is located in Verona. Those wishing to visit or take a barn tour can email info@heartlandfarmsanctuary.org for directions.

Lemmer said the next, available barn tour is July 6 at 2 p.m.
