EAU CLAIRE (WKOW)--What may have been an accidental call to 9-1-1 led Eau Claire authorities to a drug bust.
The Eau Claire police said a 9-1-1 call was made around 2 a.m. Monday.
Dispatchers say no one was talking, but they could hear people yelling. They heard people talking about a gun and being tied up.
Originally officers believed it could have been a home invasion. When a SWAT team arrived at the home, a crisis negotiator was able to get on the phone with a woman inside who came out and said everything was fine.
Police entered the home with a search warrant and found large amounts of drugs, including meth and prescription medications, along with a 44-magnum revolver and evidence of other crimes.
Eau Claire police said they believe charges will follow.
9 people were in the home at the time of the bust. One man was arrested for a probation violation.
