WAUSHARA COUNTY (WKOW) -- Days after the new "Transformers" movie hit the theaters, a 23-foot high Transformer was built east of Wild Rose.

George Edgren built it from the remains of an Oldsmobile Alero.  Edgren said that a friend of his came up with the idea to use the parts to build a Transformer.

Our affiliate, WBAY, says the Transformer is taller than Edgren's house.  He says it took about a month to finish.

Edgren is trying to think of a name and is taking suggestions on his Facebook page

He says he doesn't have any future plans for the "robot."  He says, "I just built it to catch attention, people please, and after that I don't know.  I'd sell it if needed to be, but it never really crossed my mind too much."
