Southeast Wisconsin residents still cleaning up from storm

Posted: Updated:

BROOKFIELD (WKOW) -- It was a day of clean-up rather than a day of celebration in the Milwaukee area on the Fourth of July.

Trees are still on top of homes, and some roads still remain closed, days after strong storms rolled through southeast Wisconsin.

In Brookfield, some homeowners say they're still waiting for help to remove massive trees.

Tina Lawler of Brookfield says, "We're still waiting for someone to come and take a look at the damage, and we can't wait very much longer to have this kind of resting on the house. The longer that tree sits there and things start to shift it gets scarier."
