WESTON (WKOW)— Police say a 13-year-old girl was behind the wheel when she crashed into a house Saturday evening in Weston near Wausau.
Officials say the girl had three passengers when she ran into her own home. Authorities believe the girl’s step-father may have been drinking and asked her to drive. However the girl’s mother says her daughter was getting a driving lesson and lost control of the car.
The driver and one passenger were taken to a hospital but authorities say no one was seriously injured. The crash is still under investigation.
