Janesville man arrested for 5th OWI

JANESVILLE (WKOW) – A Janesville man was arrested early Sunday morning for his fifth drunken driving offense.

According to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office, Clifford Grice, 36, was stopped by a patrol sergeant for failing to yield the right of way as he left a driveway on Center Avenue at 1:19 a.m. During the stop, a deputy helped with the stop, smelled intoxicants on Grice’s breath when they made contact and conducted field sobriety tests.

Grice failed and arrested for a 5th offense OWI. He was also issued addition citations fir OAC, the failure to yield right away, and OAR. He was taken to the Rock County Jail where he’s being held for a preliminary appearance in jail court on Monday.
