UPDATE: Stoughton man arrested after incident involving machete in Middleton

MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- Middleton Police have arrested a Stoughton man they say beat up several men and threatened them with a machete.

Officers were called to the 6300 block of Pheasant Lane around 5:45 p.m. Sunday after a man forcibly entered his girlfriend's apartment. The man, identified by police as Brandon C. Green, 27 of Stoughton, allegedly battered several males who were there. Police say one lost consciousness. Green then returned to his car, got a machete and went back into the apartment. Police say officers were able to arrest Green before anyone was hurt with the machete.

Green is in the Dane County Jail facing charges of Burglary, Disorderly Conduct While Armed, Substantial Batter, Battery and Criminal Damage to Property.

None of the men hurt have life-threatening injuries.


MIDDLETON (WKOW) -- Police are investigating a stabbing in Middleton.

The Middleton Police Department says the stabbing occurred in the 6300 block of  Pheasant Lane, but didn't say when it happened. The department sent out the news release Sunday around 9:45 p.m.
