MADISON (WKOW) -- A man is punched and robbed at the South Metro Transfer Point late Monday night.

The victim was waiting for the bus when 32-year-old Marcus Curtis and a friend began talking with him.  Curtis asked for a cigarette, which he was given, then punched the victim in the face and took off.

Later, Curtis and his friend returned and the same circumstances played out with the same victim.  This time, however, the victim's cell phone was taken.

Officers located Curtis in the area and took him into custody.
