UPDATE: Missing Dane Co. teen found in St. Louis

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff's Office says 15-year-old Jaylin Allen-Wallace has been located in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jaylin is safe and will be reunited with family in the next couple of days.

Jaylin reportedly left her home in the town of Blooming Grove Sunday with a backpack full of personal items and had not returned.  Jaylin initially had telephone contact with her mother, but had ceased.

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is now asking for help from anyone who knows the whereabouts of 15-year-old Jaylin N. Allen-Wallace.

A sheriff's office says Jaylin reportedly left her home in the town of Blooming Grove on Sunday with a backpack full of personal items and has not returned. The office also says Jaylin initially had telephone contact with her mother, but that contact has now ceased and her family is very concerned.

Potential destinations for Jaylin could be Freeport or Rockford, IL or St. Louis, MO, according to a sheriff's office news release. Jaylin is also known to frequent the State St. area in Madison. Anyone who knows where Jaylin Allen-Wallace might be or who has had recent contact with her is asked to call the Dane County tip line at (608) 284-6900.
