ROCK COUNTY (WKOW) -- A $2,500 donation will help homeless teens in Rock County.
The AT&T Innovation and Investment Award with support Project 16:49.
Officials say the program's mission is to empower Rock County's homeless youth to take action to achieve their goals.
Tammy DeGarmo, the Executive Director of Project 16:49 says, "We want to help them get where they want to be in life. I think the key to this program is empowering them to achieve what they want to achieve in their lives."
Project 16:49 works to meet their immediate needs, including safe shelter, food, physical and mental health care, education support and transportation.
