Trails closed at Governor Dodge State Park

Posted: Updated:
MADISON (WKOW) -- Some hiking, biking and horse trails in Governor Dodge State Park are going to be closed through the summer due to clean-up from the storms in June.

The five impacted are:  Pine Cliff hiking trail, Lake View hiking trail, Mill Creek off-road bike trail, Military Ridge hiking and biking trail and the Outer Horse Loop trail.

The DNR says after the storms, it focused on clearing campgrounds and roads first, and then turned its attention to the trails.

The trails should reopen around September 12.
