MADISON (WKOW) -- The art of summer takes over the Capitol Square in Madison this weekend.
Art Fair on the Square features more than 450 artists with work ranging from paintings to sculptures to jewelry and much more.
Money raised will go to the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art to support free exhibitions and education programs.
"This is a very important event, not only for the community to come and be exposed to art, but also for the museum, because this is our largest fundraiser of the year," Erika Monroe-Kane, the MMoCA communications director, said. "This event helps us keep the museum free and open for all who come and also supports many of our programs, the vast majority which are free."
Art Fair on the Square runs Saturday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m.
WKOW continues its tradition as a sponsor. Our booth will be at the State Street entrance.
