Posted: Updated:
BARABOO (WKOW) -- The Sauk County Sheriff's Office says the woman who died in a train accident Saturday at the Mid Continent Railway Museum is Linda L. Rowe.

Rowe, 66, is from North Freedom, WI.

The sheriff's office says she was struck by a train at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum in North Freedom. A preliminary investigation determined Rowe, a volunteer employee at the Museum, was stepping off a locomotive when she slipped under the train as it began to move. She died at the scene.

The Sauk County Sheriff's Office is investigating the accident.
