Court dismisses Jeremy Wand's appeal

Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- Records show a state Court of Appeals has dismissed Jeremy Wand's appeal of his conviction in the deaths of his nephews.

Records show a three-judge panel from the District IV Court of Appeals dismissed the appeal without prejudice. If Wand wants to file another appeal, he must do so by September 8, 2014.

Wand was sentenced to life in prison for helping his brother Armin burn down Armin's home in Argyle in September of 2012. Armin's three sons died in the fire. Armin's wife, Sharon, survived but was severely injured, and she lost the child she was carrying. The couple's young daughter also survived the blaze.

Armin Wand is serving three life sentences in the case.
