BISMARCK (WKOW) -- A Wisconsin man accused of bringing females to North Dakota's oil patch and forcing them into prostitution has pleaded not guilty in federal court.

According to reports from KXMB-TV, 31-year-old Levell Durr pleaded not guilty to coercion and enticement.

Authorities allege that he used drugs and physical violence to keep the females compliant and at one point kept a girl in a dog kennel for days for breaking one of his rules.

Federal Magistrate Judge Charles Miller set Durr's trial for September 16.
