MARIETTA, GA (WKOW) -- The second American aid worker who was diagnosed with Ebola in west Africa has arrived in the Atlanta area for treatment.

She will be treated at an isolated unit at Emory University Hospital.

Hospital officials have not released her identity, but the aid group she was working with has identified her as 59-year-old Nancy Writebol.

Hospital officials say she remains in serious but stable condition.

The other American diagnosed with Ebola, Dr. Kent Brantly, arrived in Atlanta for treatment on Saturday.

Both contracted Ebola while treating patients in Liberia.

Ebola has killed nearly 900 people in four African countries in what's considered one of the largest outbreaks ever.
