Art exhibition gives fans look at artistic process
MADISON (WKOW) -- A brand new exhibit is taking shape at the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art.
Milwaukee artist Jason S. Yi is transforming the State Street gallery into an art lab, where those walking past outside can see him hard at work creating his piece titled a "Fragile Permanence."
Yi says he is happy to meet and greet people who are curious about his project, "Talk to them about the process and maybe kind of break down the process a little bit sometimes art is seen as something that's inaccessible for some people, and I wanna make it accessible as much as possible."
Yi has created exhibits across the world in places like New York, China, and Austria.
An opening night celebration is set for August 22nd, and the exhibit will be on display at the museum through November 9th.
