Triangle Ethnic Fest celebrates 30 years

Posted: Updated:

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Bayview Foundation hosted its annual festival Sunday that celebrates all the different cultures in the city.

Triangle Ethnic Fest went on all day near downtown Madison, with dance performances from many different groups and a wide range of ethnic foods.

The festival started 30 years ago to recognize the diverse cultures of the Triangle community, near Park Street.

"What we're doing is we're celebrating the cultures, celebrating the diversity," says coordinator David Haas. "Kind of showcasing all of the positive things that come out of this neighborhood."

The Triangle Ethnic Fest is the longest-running multicultural celebration in Madison.
