Dodge County Sheriff looking for person of interest in homicide case

Posted: Updated:

TOWN OF FOX LAKE (WKOW) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is looking for a woman who they say was the last person to see Michael Soeller before he was found dead on Sunday afternoon.

The 43-year-old Soeller was found dead by his landlord in his apartment on State Highway 73 in the township of Fox Lake near Randolph.

An autopsy determined Soeller died from loss of blood and ruled the death a homicide.

The person of interest is believed to be the last person to be with Soeller.  A neighbor of Soeller was also able to help a sketch artist create a drawing of the woman as well. Officials are trying to figure out her name and where she's from. Soeller's landlord tells 27 News that he has never seen the person of interest near the rental property and didn't know how she was connected to Soeller.

The landlord also says that Soeller was a kind and hardworking man who typically kept to himself. He never had any problems with him as a tenant.

Anyone with information please call Dodge County Sheriff's Office at 920-386-3748.
