UPDATE (WKOW) -- Police in Madison brought in thermal imaging cameras Tuesday night in their search of a missing woman, but there are still no signs of her.

They're looking for 60-year-old Nejay Redd.

She was last seen on Madison's east side in the area of Rethke and Worthington Avenues. Police say Redd was wearing a blue sweater with a light green wrap/sarong or skirt, mismatched socks and no shoes.

27 News spoke with Redd's daughter Tuesday night, who says just 10 days ago, her father, Nejay's husband, passed away, and Nejay's health has been in decline ever since. Now family members are holding out hope their mother comes home or is found safely.

Earlier in the day, police officers brought in canines to help in the search. Officers also passed out flyers with information about Redd.

The search is expected to resume Wednesday morning.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Madison Police have updated the clothing description of a missing Madison woman.

They now believe 60-year-old Nejay Redd was not wearing a head-wrap at the time she went missing. She has short white and silver hair.

She was not wearing shoes and was wearing mismatched socks. She was wearing a blue sweater and light green wrap/sarong or skirt.

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Madison police tell 27 News they are regrouping in their search for a missing Madison woman and are now focusing on the Starkweather Creek area. Our news crew covering this story says searchers seem to be canvassing nearby areas, including Worthington Park.

Both of those locations are near the spot where Nejay Redd was last scene near Rethke Avenue and Worthington Avenue in East Madison.

Redd is 60-years old and suffers from dementia, and police say there is growing concern for her well-being.

Police tell 27 News Redd recently lost her husband and that could be contributing to her state of mind.

UPDATE (WKOW) --- Madison Police say there is growing concern for the well being of 60-year-old Nejay Redd who is missing.

MPD K9 teams are in the area she was last seen near Rethke Avenue and Worthington Avenue in Madison.

Officials are working on a reverse 911 call in that area now.   If you see Nejay please call 911.

 MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Police are trying to find 60-year-old Nejay Redd who suffers from Dementia.

Redd was last seen at 11 p.m. Monday near Rethke and Worthington Avenues on Madison's east side.

Nejay was last seen wearing a dark green wrap-around multi-colored dress and white head-wrap.  Police described her clothing as traditional African cultural clothing.

She is an African immigrant who does not speak English.  She is about 5'6" and 130lbs.
