MADISON (WKOW) -

The Badgers survived a tough test from Purdue to remain at the top of the Big Ten. Frank Kaminsky led the way with 21 points in the 62-55 victory.

The Boilermakers proved to be a difficult matchup with a pair of 7-footers in the paint. Isaac Haas and AJ Hammons each scored 11 points. Purdue had the lead for much of the first half.

Sam Dekker provided a spark in the first half with a follow-up dunk. Dekker crossed the 1,000-point landmark with the bucket but only managed six points in the contest.

The fourth-ranked Badgers were again led by Kaminsky. The senior battled through illness to notch 21 points and four rebounds. Josh Gasser chipped in 15 points. Traevon Jackson added 13. Wisconsin did much of their damage from the free throw line. They were 25-31 from the charity stripe.

The Badgers improve to 15-1 overall. They are 3-0 in conference play. Bo Ryan set a new school record in the contest with his 159th Big Ten win.
